Educational content, not medical advice
Coastline Salt Room is a wellness studio, and this website is its journal. The articles here — about halotherapy, HydroMassage, meditation and related practices — are educational wellness information written for a general audience. They describe what these practices are, what a session feels like and what the published literature discusses. They are not medical advice, and they are not a substitute for advice, diagnosis or treatment from a licensed physician or other qualified health professional.
Reading this site does not create a doctor–patient relationship, a therapist–client relationship or any other professional relationship between you and Coastline Salt Room or its authors.
Salt therapy and massage are wellness practices
Halotherapy (dry salt therapy), massage and meditation are offered at our studio as relaxation and wellness practices. While guests often report feeling better after sessions, individual experiences vary, and research into dry salt aerosol in particular is still developing. We do not claim that any session at our studio prevents, treats or cures any disease or medical condition, and you should be cautious of any provider who does.
Talk with your physician first
Always consult a physician or other qualified health provider before starting any new wellness practice — especially if you have a respiratory condition such as asthma or COPD, a cardiovascular condition, a skin condition, are pregnant, are recovering from surgery or illness, or have any other ongoing health concern. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on this site. A wellness article, however carefully written, does not know your health history; your physician does.
Emergencies
This website is not monitored for medical emergencies, and the contact form is not a channel for urgent care. If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency — difficulty breathing, chest pain, severe allergic reaction or anything else that cannot wait — call 911 or your local emergency number immediately. Do not wait for a reply from us.
Accuracy and currency
We work to keep the information on this site accurate and current, and our editorial policy explains how content is produced and reviewed. Even so, wellness research evolves, and no website can guarantee that every page reflects the latest findings at the moment you read it. When decisions matter, verify with a qualified professional.
Questions
If you have questions about this disclaimer — or about whether a session at the studio is appropriate for you — please contact us, and bring health-specific questions to your physician.
